A Kitchen Born
in Lucknow's Lanes

Three generations ago, Master Chef Iqbal Ahmed left the royal kitchen of the Nawab of Awadh carrying one notebook filled with secrets — the precise blooming of saffron, the dum technique that seals soul into rice, the spice ratios no scale can measure.

Today, his granddaughter Chef Meera Ahmed carries that notebook and that legacy forward — in a dining room where stone jalis filter evening light onto hand-painted crockery, and every plate tells the story of a civilization that perfected pleasure.
